On the afternoon of December 17th , a special round table on the construction of Xinyang future human settlement Sci-Tech City was held at the home of Xinshang. Cai Songtao, Mayor and Secretary of Xinyang Municipal Party Committee, Sun Tongzhan, Chairman of the Municipal CPPCC, and Yang Jin, member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the Municipal Party Committee attended the meeting.
Experts and scholars attending the meeting continued to discuss around human settlements technology and a better life, focusing on "regional energy helps the sustainable development of human settlements Sci-Tech city", "artistic presentation of urban and rural buildings in a low-carbon context", "smart life and efficient utilization of resources in urban and rural areas", "biotechnology application of domestic waste resource treatment" and so on. There has been in-depth conversation about themes including building a "government + capital + market + technology" platform to achieve in-deep combination of technology integration, business models, and innovation orientation, enhancement of technology utilization, promotion of smart life in urban and rural areas, improvement of orientation of party building, innovation of technological means, and recycling of waste etc.
Subsequently, invited experts such as Li Xiang, the chief consultant of the future human settlement Science City Construction of Xinyang; Xu Hanguo, the chief consultant of the green financial reform; and Liang Jun, the chief consultant of the cultural and creation industry, together with local university experts, representatives of relevant industrial enterprises, and municipal departments, talked freely and imagined the future around the integration of industry, city, energy and environment, and provided suggestions for the planning, design, investment and construction of Xinyang future human settlement Sci-Tech City.
It is said that Yangshan newly developing area is going to target on building up core area of Xinyang future living Sci-Tech city, promote the upgrade of industry transformation, vigorously create the national level future living Sci-Tech creative highland; speed up Hubei Eco industry park plan and strive to build a leading green engine and a smart park for demonstration; take “Xinyang better life” exhibition area as the lead, explore the standardized system on green construction; take building international park city as the lead, Yangshan will make the city a gentle and charming one; promote green finance innovation to create a “green + finance” highland; keep exploring “government-enterprise smart finance” model to build more distinctive, convenient, creative and entrepreneurial public cultural space and create a highland with combined development of cultural tourism and creativity.
